Term 2 focuses on soil air, soil moisture, soil temperature, soil morphology and classification, soil colloids and acidity, soil alkalinity and salinity, and soil organic matter, with a June examination as the formal assessment.
Term 3 covers plant nutrition, water and nutrients, mineral nutrition, plant nutrient uptake and analysis, fertilisers and fertilisation practices, and plant reproduction topics including pollination and seed germination.
