Term 1 covers recent business legislation, the human resources function, professionalism and ethics, creative thinking and problem solving, and macro-environment business strategies.
Term 2 includes investment in securities (JSE, shares, and interest calculations) and investment in insurance (compulsory and non-compulsory insurance).
Term 3 covers human rights and inclusivity, social responsibility, CSR and CSI, presentation and data response, and forms of ownership, followed by a preparatory exam.
The preparatory exam has two papers. Paper 1 focuses on business environments and business operations. Paper 2 focuses on business ventures and business roles.
Term 4 focuses on revision and the final NSC examination, written as two papers.
